Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco
Chip and Joanna Gaines have turned Waco, Texas, into quite the destination with the success of their hit TV show “Fixer Upper” and Magnolia Market at the Silos.
Magnolia Market is full of home goods and decor ideas, while other shops offer clothing, jewelry, books and bags.
Be sure to make a stop at the Silos Baking Co. for a delicious cupcake (or two) and head to Magnolia Press for your coffee cravings.
My favorite cupcakes are shiplap (vanilla on vanilla), strawberries ‘n cream and lemon lavender.
There are also food trucks on site or make the short eight-minute drive to Magnolia Table for a sit-down meal.
Magnolia Table is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features homegrown ingredients and old-fashioned cooking. I highly suggest making a reservation as the line can get quite long.
I enjoyed a yummy brunch there complete with sweet greens juice and strawberry butter. Yum!
You can also check out The Little Shop on Bosque, the original Magnolia Market where it all started. It’s a great place to find items at a discounted price!
Dr Pepper was created in Waco and nearby Magnolia Market, you can tour the Dr Pepper Museum. Learn all about the history of Dr Pepper and how it was first sold in 1885.
After your tour, be sure to visit the soda fountain for a Dr Pepper float!
