Oregon Coast adventure

The Oregon Coast stretches 362 miles and is full of beautiful beaches, rugged sea stacks, tide pools and cute coastal towns.

I took a tour from Portland with America’s Hub World Tours to the Oregon Coast. Our first stop was Ecola State Park, where we had sweeping views of the coast and the rock formations in the ocean. Be prepared for the cold and wind!

Next, we went to Cannon Beach, famous for Haystack Rock, a 235-foot tall sea stack. There are many tide pools around Haystack Rock and it’s also a nesting spot for puffins.

Cannon Beach is a cute town with lots of shops, art galleries and restaurants. I enjoyed lunch there at Ecola Seafood Market.

We also enjoyed the views from Neahkahnie Point in Oswald State Park.

Our final stop on the coast was in Manzanita, which had a wide, flat beach that was good for taking a stroll along the water.

On the way to the coast or back, make a stop at Camp 18 in Seaside and you might run into Bigfoot!
