Stingray City in Grand Cayman

I recently went on a nine-day Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Celebrity Cruises, and our first port of call was George Town, Grand Cayman.

I took a shore excursion to Stingray City, a wide sandbar that’s home to many fish and stingrays. It’s a beautiful boat ride out with sparkling blue waters.

Once there, you can swim and snorkel with the stingrays, as well as pose for fun photos with them. They were friendly and very soft to touch!

I even gave the stingray a kiss!

Stingray City is a great place to visit and fun for all ages. The water is shallow and super clear. I felt very comfortable with the stingrays.

We made a second stop at Coral Gardens for more snorkeling. The water is deeper and there is much more coral. I was able to see a good amount of these yellow fish!

Check out our other ports of call: Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire.
